Privacy and cookie policy
What data we process in connection with your use of the adwokates.pl website and your contact with the firm, on what legal basis, for how long, and what rights you have.
1. Data controller
The controllers of your personal data are: advocate (adwokat) Magdalena Eckersdorf, who runs an Advocate’s Law Office, and attorney-at-law (radca prawny) Marta Siewiera-Misiuda, who runs an Attorney-at-Law’s Office (hereinafter jointly: “E&S Law Firm” or the “Firm”), with their registered office at ul. Narutowicza 54 lok. 15, 90-136 Łódź.

Each of the law offices independently acts as the controller of its own clients’ data. With regard to the joint website, the law offices act as joint controllers within the meaning of Art. 26 GDPR – the essence of the arrangement is available on request.
2. What data we process and where we obtain them
We process only the data that you provide to us directly or that are necessary to handle your case:
- e-mail correspondence: first name and surname, e-mail address, the content of the message and any other data you provide yourself;
- telephone contact: telephone number and information provided during the call;
- legal services: data necessary to handle the case, including – where the nature of the case so requires – special categories of personal data, e.g. data concerning health in compensation cases;
- use of the website: IP address, information about the device and browser, and data stored in cookies (see section 9).
3. Purposes, legal bases and period of processing

4. Recipients of data
Data may be disclosed only to entities that support us in running the firm and handling your case:
- providers of IT, website hosting and e-mail services;
- Google Ireland Limited – provider of the Google Analytics 4 tool (only after you have consented to statistics cookies) and of Google Fonts (IP address transmitted automatically by the browser when the website is displayed);
- entities providing accounting, postal and courier services;
- courts, administrative authorities, insurers, bailiffs, notaries, court experts, valuers and sworn translators – to the extent necessary to handle your case;
- cooperating law firms in Germany, Austria and Switzerland – only in cases with a foreign element and after agreement with you;
- persons authorised by the Firm (trainee lawyers, employees, associates) who are bound by professional secrecy.
5. Transfers of data outside the European Economic Area
As a rule, we do not transfer data outside the EEA. Data are transferred to Switzerland on the basis of a European Commission decision finding an adequate level of protection. If we use tools from providers outside the EEA (e.g. for visit statistics), data are transferred on the basis of standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.
When we use Google Analytics and Google Fonts, data (including IP addresses and cookie identifiers) may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States on the basis of the European Commission decision finding an adequate level of protection under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
6. Your rights
In connection with the processing of your data, you have the right to:
- access your data and obtain a copy of them
- rectification (correction) of your data
- erasure of your data – where there is no basis for further processing
- restriction of processing
- data portability – with regard to data processed on the basis of consent or a contract
- object to processing based on legitimate interests
- withdraw your consent at any time – without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal
- lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa
The exercise of certain rights may be limited by the professional secrecy of advocates and attorneys-at-law, by which we are bound by operation of law.
7. Voluntary provision of data
Providing your data is voluntary, but it is necessary in order for us to reply to your message and, in the case of clients, to conclude and perform a contract for the provision of legal assistance.
8. Automated decision-making and profiling
We do not make decisions by automated means and do not profile users of the website.
9. Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you use the website. We use the following types of cookies and similar technologies:

You consent to statistics cookies by selecting “Accept all” in the notice displayed on your first visit. By selecting “Necessary only”, you use the website without statistics cookies. You can change your decision at any time by clicking “” in the website footer, and delete stored cookies in your browser settings.
The directions map opens in Google Maps only after you click the link – from that moment, Google’s privacy policy applies.
10. Changes to the policy
This policy may be updated, e.g. in the event of changes in legislation or in the way the website operates. The current version is always available at this address. Date of last update: September 2026.
